Unveiled in 2012, the second-generation Aston Martin Vanquish was based on Aston Martin’s VH platform, which debuted in the DB9, with its styling evolving from the DBS.

Under the bonnet it featured a 6.0 litre V12 engine, providing between 565 bhp and 595 bhp and top speeds of 200 mph by the end of its production. It was Aston Martin's most powerful car ever launched at the time.

After the first 18 months of production, the mechanical elements were improved with a revised eight-speed Touchtronic III gearbox which increased power and darted the Vanquish 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds.

A lot of the designs of the Vanquish were taken from the Aston Martin One-77 and as a first for Aston Martin, all the painted body sections on the Vanquish were made of carbon fiber with an exposed carbon fiber side skirt which made it nearly 100 kg lighter than the old Vanquish.

The interior was all new with details again inspired by the exclusive One-77 with upholstered hand-stitched leather and Alcantara available in a range of colours. There was also an updated infotainment system on the centre console compared to the one in the DBS.

The interior was more roomy, comfortable, and more luxurious than ever with a high-quality finish and was designed to maximise space, the Vanquish has 140% more storage space than the DBS.

The Aston Martin Vanquish is a beautifully designed supercar and in 2016 it was awarded 1st Place for “Sports Cars Import” by the renowned German automotive magazine Auto Motor Und Sport.
