Lambda sensors, also known as oxygen sensors, are an essential part of the exhaust system on your supercar. They measure the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gases and send this information to the car's engine control unit (ECU). The ECU uses this information to adjust the air-fuel ratio in the engine, ensuring that it is running at its most efficient level. Lambda sensors are typically located in the exhaust manifold, downstream of the catalytic converter. Lambda sensors are typically very reliable and can last for many years. However, they can be damaged by heat, corrosion, or contamination. If a lambda sensor is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
