The Porsche 997, introduced in 2005, refined the 911 with modern technology while restoring its classic round headlights. The 997 Turbo debuted in 2006 with a 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged engine producing 480 hp, the first production car to feature variable turbine geometry. The 2010 facelift introduced a 3.8-litre engine, boosting power to 500 hp, while the Turbo S delivered 530 hp.
